The Uttar Pradesh Board, responsible for high school and intermediate examinations, is set to introduce computerised identity cards equipped with unique QR codes and serial numbers for invigilators. This innovative step aims to ensure the fair conduct of exams.Approximately 2.75 lakh exam room invigilators are slated to receive these identity cards, featuring QR codes and serial numbers to prevent replication and deter impersonation attempts. UP Board secretary DivyakantShukla emphasised that these measures would enhance security and maintain the integrity of the examination process. The exams are scheduled to take place at 8,264 centres across 75 districts from February 22 to March 9, 2024, accommodating around 55,08,206 registered students. This proactive move underscores the commitment to conducting exams with the utmost transparency and integrity.
