Q. Could you provide us with a brief overview of your professional background and areas of expertise?
I have expertise in the field of accountancy and taxation. The whole process of appearing for the Civil services helped me grow as an individual and develop a greater sense of responsibility towards the nation. The learning process exposed the reality of the society we live in. I personally feel we need to utilize our capacities to the fullest and turn ourselves into an asset for our country. The idea of doing great things to the mankind will pave way for my future. i have excelled in academics through out my formal education and this has instilled a sense of confidence to guide the un-explored minds towards achieving success in any chosen field. The leadership responsibilities assumed during my school days uplifts the morale of leading in the front with no look backs. The love for learning will be passed on to the future generation in an amplified manner.
Q. Could you highlight some of your key accomplishments in the field of education?
I started my teaching career by organising weekend schools for the underprivileged children with limited access to formal schooling. The constrained resources at my disposal restricted me in organising these schools in large numbers. The inbuilt interests of these students took me by surprise , irrespective of the environment they grow in. The love for learning in their sparkling eyes inspired me to take up education as a primary field of interest. The experience of devising different ways of teaching basic concepts in order to make it accessible to these children was challenging. The success at developing experiential teaching practices marked as a stepping stone into the field of education. The idea of imparting education on practical grounds took shape in the form of a new school a few years ago where I could fulfil my vision. Today, we stand as a school, known for grooming young leaders who are ready to face the contingent situations of the world. Our students have developed interest in different forms of sports and are able to receive formal coaching in a sport of their choice. The living example as a visionary school will encourage more educators to walk their way towards inclusive education.
Q. What impactful changes or innovations have you implemented in the education segment, and what further advancements would you like to see or implement in the field of education?
Unified learning practices adopted by us help students sail through their school days in a comfortable manner. The minds of the students is filled with happiness during their school hours. The concept of pressure takes a back seat in the process of gaining knowledge. The concept of "Adhyapan", teaching the under privileged kids has been passed on to our students. They actively take part in the weekend schools organised for these children. This initiative has helped them count their blessings and live a meaningful life. The true essence of imparting education has been preserved with due diligence. Each child starts their day with the eagerness of exploring different aspects of the real world. The huge gap between the academic world and the real world has been bridged to a great extent. The life looks more simple and less stressful which channelises their energy towards making impossible goals a reality. The aim for the coming days is to expose the students to off book experiences of the great achievers.
There is a need for a platform to develop the emotional quotient of the child which achieves the true sense of overall development. The lack of desired sports curriculum and the age old inclined practices towards academics has hampered the physical development of the children. Pursuing one form of sport should be made compulsory at school level.
Q. What advice can you give emerging education professionals/fellow educators regarding essential leadership qualities in this field?
We being educationists, let's fulfil our responsibility in an intrinsic manner. Let every step of ours be directed towards improving the prevailing educational practices. The duty of grooming young individuals should be disposed at cent percent. The idea of developed nation can be achieved only with enthusiastic educators joining hands together in developing impactful practices which increases the knowledge base.
