Maharashtra's MHT-CET 2024 exams for engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses were conducted from April 22 to May 16 across 169 centers. The results, declared using a percentile method without negative marking or grace marks, aimed for fairness. A total of 6,75,377 students registered, with transparent objection resolution processes implemented. Maharashtra's centralized admission process ensures equal opportunities, reinforcing transparency and fairness in professional course admissions. The procedure for result calculation was made available on the CET cell website in April 2024, well in advance of the exams. About 200 candidates and parents filed applications with the CET cell, all of which were verified and resolved. Furthermore, 54 candidates whose objections were accepted received refunds of their application fees online. Sardesai concluded by affirming that the results are declared batch-wise to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates in each session, a pattern implemented since 2018-19.
