IIT Madras, in collaboration with Tel Aviv University and KMCH-Research Foundation, has launched a four-month hybrid water quality course starting July 29, 2024. Final-year science and engineering students can register for this course via the NPTEL online platform. The course includes practical tests, and surveys, and aims to build a global water quality database. It focuses on creating water-literate citizens by providing a comprehensive understanding of water quality and its impact on health. Students will conduct field and lab measurements, contributing to a water map of India and the world. Course instructors include professors from IIT Madras, Tel Aviv University, and KMCH-RF. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate that may be credited toward their degree.
