Educating students about plastic recycling is crucial for fostering environmentally responsible behavior. KIIT World School, Gurugram, in collaboration with the Indian Centre for Plastic in the Environment, organized a workshop on July 6, 2024, led by Mr. Sudheer Khurana, Manager of Systems and Communications at ICPE. The session covered the benefits of recycling plastic and provided a comprehensive overview of the recycling process, from collection to the creation of new products. Students actively participated, learning the importance of personal responsibility and sustainable practices. Goodies made from recycled plastic were distributed to encourage commitment to environmental stewardship.
