Schools including Vidhya Mandir and Chettinad Vidyashram declared holidays after receiving the threats around 1.55 am. Police registered cases, launched investigations, and deployed bomb squads to thoroughly inspect the campuses, confirming the threats as hoaxes. The cases were handed over to the central crime branch's cybercrime wing for deeper investigation into the email sender's identity.
