Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University has removed the lunch break from its daily schedule, opting for continuous classes from 9 am to 5 pm. Officials suggest students can "squeeze five minutes here and there" for lunch. The decision, affecting all 22 DSEU campuses, aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 to create a centralized timetable. The move has sparked student outrage. Joint Director Kamna Sachdeva explained that classes end by 1:30 pm for the first batch, negating the need for a lunch break. Established in 2020, DSEU offers skill-based courses across its campuses, with VK Saxena as chancellor.
