Robots, flying machines, and self-driving vehicles, long envisioned by humans, have become a reality. The narrative has shifted from humans engaging in computer-related work to AI potentially taking over much of human thought, leading to concerns about the future of human intelligence.

This raises a significant ethical dilemma: has humanity created a monster or a blessing for the future? If a catastrophe occurs, will the blame fall on humans or machines? Privacy issues are already a major concern. Our lives are increasingly monitored, with constant surveillance making privacy a thing of the past. The trade-off for this seemingly convenient lifestyle is stress, fear, and the loss of personal privacy.

Is this trade-off worth it? The answer is partly affirmative. Using AI to replace human action in high-risk scenarios, such as dangerous terrains, disaster zones, rescue operations, and scientific research, is beneficial. However, everyday tasks that don’t require AI should remain in human hands. Reducing human engagement in daily life could turn humans into mere mechanical devices in an AI-driven world.

Ethical dilemmas persist, particularly for parts of the world untouched by technological advancements. These communities, living with basic needs, are often displaced by the ambitions of those with access to advanced technology. The power of AI in the wrong hands could drastically alter the course of human history, potentially leading to disastrous consequences.

AI is progressing rapidly, and without sensible limitations, its advancements could cause irreversible damage. The risk is that AI, if left unchecked, could evolve into an uncontrollable force, ultimately engulfing humanity into oblivion. To avoid this, it's crucial to balance AI's progress, ensuring it serves humanity without overpowering it.
