Gujarat Education Minister Kuber Dindorinitiated a CPR training campaign at GMERS Medical College in Godhra, aiming to train over two lakh teachers from government primary and secondary schools and colleges. The first session trained 1,200 teachers, and a total of 2,400 teachers were trained during two sessions. The campaign, divided into two phases, began on Sunday and continues on December 17. Dindor emphasized the moral duty to save lives through CPR, with the goal of making Gujarat the first state to provide mass CPR training to teachers. The minister claimed that, in the last six months, 1,052 people in Gujarat died from heart attacks, with 80% in the 11-25 age group.
