Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at the Manipal International School Bengaluru Campus.
The Chief Guest Dr. Syeda Nusrath , State Chief Commissioner of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Mr. U S Moinuddin , Chairman – Scouts and Guides, the Guest of Honour- Dr. Sami Ulla Sir and the school Principal and Vice President Academics – Dr. Ritu Chauhan along with the HSG team presided over the function.
The celebration began with the auspicious flag hoisting ceremony as a symbol of national pride and identity, followed by invoking the blessings of the Almighty and the lamp lighting ceremony.
The students virtually shared their thoughts about India’s freedom struggle from the power of British Rule through speeches, slogans, a veena performance and a dance.
The dignitaries instilled a sense of patriotism and national pride through their motivational speeches. It was indeed a momentous day that filled the air with patriotism and the students’ hearts with gratitude for all the freedom fighters, corona warriors and the armed forces.
