Gujarat schools to reopen on Sept 2 – Education News
Schools in Gujarat will reopen for classes 6 to 8 from September 02, 2021, said education minister Bhupender Chudasama on Thursday. However, he has asked schools to follow guidelines.
Earlier, Schools in Gujarat were announced to be opened by July 26. However, due to the Covid-19 situation, it was delayed.
Classes will only resume at 50 percent student capacity, and the schools will continue online classes. Attendance in physical classes will not be mandatory. All students attending physical classes will have to get a consent form signed by their guardians. Action will be taken against schools that are not adhering to Covid-19 norms.
