JNTU Hyderabad Postpones Exams Due To Heavy Rain Alert – Education News India

In light of heavy rainfall and a flash flood risk (FFR) alert issued by the India Metrological Department (IMD) in Telangana, the JNTU Hyderabad (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) has postponed all the exams that were scheduled to be held on Monday, September 27.

However, the remaining exams the university will be held as per schedule from September 28, as per a circular signed by the registrar of JNTU Hyderabad M Manoor Hussain.

The IMD, Hyderabad has issued an FFR alert for Telangana for the next 24 hours. In the forecast, it said the watersheds in various districts can expect flash floods as chances are moderate to high during the next 24 hours.
