CBSE requested to waive-off Class 10 & 12 board exam fee by Parents’ Association – Education News India
The parent association AIPA which is known as All India Parents Association has written to the CBSE, they request to waive off the board exam fees & registration fees for classes 10 as well as 12. As this year the parents faced the financial problems due to the Covid-19.
AIPA president Ashok Agarwal wrote a letter to CBSE mentioning the problem of parents like the whole country is badly affected by the Covid pandemic from last almost 2 years till now. Due to the lockdown the livelihood & income of the parents have been badly affected.
There are many students in govt schools that comes from underprivileged backgrounds. Many parents are not being able to pay the tuition fees of private schools so they are pulling out their kids from private schools.
Putting them under more financial pressure will result in exit of many students from schools. The letter also conveyed that last year CBSE had ignored their request of waving fee & had charged the exam fees from all the students.
However, the exams were cancelled later & no there was no clarification on giving the refund of the exam fee.
Mentioning various reasons the association has requested to waive-off not only the board exam fees but also board registration fees for 10th & 12th CBSE board exams 2022.
