Private body urges Jharkhand CM to reopen schools – Education News

Private Schools and Children Welfare Association (PSCWA) has asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to reopen schools for the education of children. They allege that many organizations and political parties are only talking about opening a temple-mosque but are not concerned about the education of the children.

In such a situation, the PSCWA wants to request the chief minister to grant permission for schools to be reopened for offline classes first for Classes 9 to 12 and then for Classes 6 to 8.

State President of PSCWA Alok Kumar Dubey said that despite all the difficulties during the Covid-19 period, the teachers continued the work of providing education to the children through the online medium. A delegation of the organization will meet the CM and urge him to open schools from Nursery to Class 5, as well as remove the bottleneck in providing affiliation to private schools up to Class 8 as experienced with the previous Raghuvar Das government.

State Vice-President Lal Kishorenath Shahdev said that the education department has sought applications from schools for recognition under the Right to Education Act. Many strict rules have been made in this case which can be used to rent land on lease in remote rural areas or urban areas.
