IMS Noida grooms students to meet industry needs – Education News
IMS Noida organized a workshop on ‘Campus to Corporate’ for grooming the students in the context of industry needs. The primary objective of this session was to facilitate the interface between the college and the industry so that students get more exposure to the Industry which would help to develop their skills and in turn increase their employability.
The speaker of the session was a philanthropist, motivational speaker, and author, Dr. Parin Somani, and senior director of IMS Noida, Dr. Kulneet Suri gave their presence in the organized session.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Parin Somani highlighted the theme and objectives of the workshop especially on the need for practical education to ensure effective linkage between academia and industry. She explained how important it is for students to understand the expectations that the Industry has from fresh graduates as it will help in the effective transition from campus to professional life.
While discussing the corporate grooming, senior director of IMS Noida, Dr. Kulneet Suri said, “We have organized the session for students to build confidence, develop self-esteem, and to bring positive changes in the attitude & behavior of the participants. This workshop will help students in many perspectives such as understanding how the transition from one’s student life to professional life can be made easier, to elaborate on skills that are desirable and need to be developed for strengthening employability.
” This workshop will provide an insight into what skills a student needs to pick up and what preparations one needs to make to transition smoothly into professional life and successfully work there.
