IM -Vizag redesigns electives for executive MBA programme- Education News
The Indian Institute of Management (IM )Visakhapatnam has revamped its elective courses for its two-year, non-residential post graduate programme for experienced professionals (PGPEx/MBA) for the 2022-24 batch.
Several new-age elective courses from areas like business model analysis, entrepreneurial leadership, digital marketing, project financing, data analytics, etc. will foster a deep understanding in areas of interest of the students.
According to IM-V officials, the curriculum is specifically designed for experienced individuals who look forward to leadership roles. Even though the institute is likely to move into its permanent campus in Gambheeram in June, the PGPExprogramme will continue from the transit campus in Andhra University.
As Andhra Pradesh is deprived of such executive management education opportunities in premier business schools, the course has become a major draw for the employees of various public sector undertakings as well as the corporate sector. For instance, nearly 40% of the students enrolled in the 2021-23 batch belong to various PSUs and government organizations. The unique programme is positioned to hone the management skills of the students to make them evolve into transformational leaders.
