MP govt school headmistress removed from post after failing to solve simple math problem- Education News

A surprise inspection was conducted by Balaghat Collector and District Magistrate Girish Kumar Mishra in a primary school in Madhya Pradesh wherein the school headmistress failed to solve a ‘441/4’ math problem.

On failing to solve the problem, Mishra directed the authorities to remove her from the headmistress post.

During his surprise inspection, the collector asked the primary school children to solve a math problem in order to test their knowledge. When the children could not solve this problem, the collector asked their class teacher Sona Durve who is also the school headmistress to solve the simple division problem. But she too could not solve it and gave an incorrect answer. Collector Dr. Girish Mishra reprimanded her on this and directed to stop one of her increments and have her removed from the post of Principal.
