UGC releases syllabus of cyber security programme at UG & PG levels- Education News
As part of the Cyber Jagrookta Diwas 2022 celebration, University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar launched the syllabus of cyber security course at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Both UG and PG syllabi of cyber security programmes include five modules each.
Speaking on the occasion, Kumar said that this syllabus aims to create more aware, responsive and responsible digital citizens, thereby contributing effectively to an overall healthy security posture and ecosystem. He further said that for classroom transaction of these courses at UG and PG level in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) will invite security, computer, IT qualified faculty or experts from industry, subject matter experts to take the lectures, practical and tutorials.
