Andhra Pradesh govt to allocate 25-30 acres to Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India- Education News

The Andhra Pradesh State Industries and Information Technology Minister Gudivada Amaranth has said that the government will adopt measures to allocate 25 to 30 acres in Anakapalli or Visakhapatnam for the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India for required training and other issues. After inaugurating a training program for 100 women entrepreneurs on Tuesday, he said that it is a welcoming sign that women are becoming industrialists. The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India was started in 1993 and has given training to 70,000 till date. It is an encouraging sign that around 10,000 women have become industrialists. The Andhra Pradesh Minister said that as part of the agreement with the association, 100 women would be given training. Seventy-five women would receive training in food processing and the remaining 25 would get training in the garments and textile sector.
