AICTE launches diploma & undergraduate engineering books in Marathi- Education News
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched outcome-based educational books for diploma and undergraduate engineering courses in the Marathi language. The books were released by Union minister of state for education Subhas Sarkar at the Mumbai University’s Kalina Campus yesterday, November 14, 2022. AICTE has launched a total of 20 Marathi textbooks for engineering aspirants in Maharashtra. The books will be made available for the first year students. On November 11, 2022 president Droupadi Murmu launched engineering books for AICTE in Odia language.
Under NEP 2020, states have been asked to make education, particularly technical education like medicine, engineering and technology available in native languages. After Madhya Pradesh released MBBS books in Hindi, the Maharashtra government has launched engineering and polytechnic education in Marathi.
