Odisha CM announces Rs 100 crore annual award for education excellence- Education News

Odisha Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced annual excellence in education award worth Rs 100 crore for school students, institutes and headmasters, teachers, school management committees and alumni.

The award will be given to 50,000 students, 1,500 teachers and others from 5T and other schools for their contribution towards education every year. The award will be given at block, district and state levels. The government also launched digi-locker facilities for the Council of Higher Secondary Education and Board of Secondary Education from where students can get their marksheets and certificates.
