Inspired by the idea, vision, and dream of Dr. Mrs. Ujwala Nagaraja Rao Jagdale – the Chairman of Marigold International School – to impart quality education and to meet the diverse educational needs, Marigold Trust, an independent and self-financed entity, came into existence and established the premier educational institution Marigold International School, in South Bangalore, in the year 2020.

The Marigold Trust has adopted three goals: academic excellence, the spirit of innovation, and the zeal to impart value-based education. It believes in providing equitable access to learning opportunities, reaching out to all rungs of the society. It facilitates a disciplined yet nurturing environment wherein students imbibe noble values, strive towards brilliance and cultivate awareness about social concerns.

Besides her role as the Chairman of Marigold International School, Dr. Ujwala N. Jagdale is also the Managing Director of a hospital in Bangalore called Marigold Hospital.

Dr. Ujwala has done her MD in Physiology and Post-Graduation Diploma in Hospital Administration. She is a state and National award winner in Rifle shooting and an excellent Pianist. She has written many poems in English which have been published. It is her passion towards providing quality education to children that drove her to build Marigold International School, Bangalore.

Smt. Jaymala Jagdale

Chairperson

A philanthropic, hardworking, dedicated humanitarian best describes Smt. Jaymala Nagaraja Rao Jagdale, Chairperson of RajDisle Private limited. She holds a Bachelors degree in Arts from MS University, Vadodara, Gujarat.

Apart from involving herself in the healthcare industry, her initiative and active involvement at Nagi Farms to bring back the cultivation of indigenous varieties of rice, pulses, pulses, ragi, etc. along with organic farming methods is indeed laudable. She is the beacon from whom RDPL and Marigold International School derive their strength.

Her life partner Late Sri. Nagaraja Rao Jagdale was instrumental in her enormous contribution to the society. Despite the vast challenges and adversities faced by her, she is inspiration personified.

Mr. P. S. Chandrashekhara

Director

Mr. P.S. Chandrashekhara is an educationist with a long and varied experience. A post graduate in Physics from Regional Institute of Education at Mysore, he has an interesting career spanning over 35 years dedicated to the field of education. He considers himself as a team player with mentoring and leading the group for infusing

innovative ideas.

Mrs. Kaveri C.Principal

Mrs. Kaveri C., a post graduate in English with a BSc. Ed from RIE, Mysore, has a teaching experience of 24 years in Delhi Public School, Damanjodi and Ranipur. She then respectively worked as a Headmistress for 9 years, and Vice Principal for 3 years in various branches of Delhi Public School.

She is a resourceful teaching professional with a genuine interest in student cognitive and social growth. She is actively involved in all areas of education including curriculum development, teacher monitoring and mentoring, student career counselling and community work.

Amphitheatre

A major highlight of the school campus is the enormous Amphitheatre that has a capacity of 700 students and is used for performing various activities.
To ignite the creative spark in students, the school provides a host of facilities such as a Drama Studio, Music Room, Toddlers’ Play Area, Discovery Cum Activity Room, Dance Studio, Splash Pool & Sand Pit, Audio Visual Room and a Multipurpose Hall.

Safety & Security

RFID scanners are installed at the school’s entry points and the students are provided Smart ID Cards which instantly notifies parents on their mobile phones regarding the time of arrival or exit of their children to and from the school premises. The washrooms for the Pre-Primary wing have been designed taking
into consideration the students’ height and ease of usage. The water dispensers containing RO water and hand wash taps have been placed at appropriate levels for easy access by the children.

Green School Certification

•  To instill the concept of sustainability amongst the students and staff ,the school has tied up with the ASMERO green school program.
• The school uses energy efficient LEDs, fans and appliances to en surereduction in carbon footprint.
• Low VOC paints are used to ensure healthy indoor air quality forstudents. The school campus is strictly plastic-free.
• Rain water harvesting is practiced and low flow plumbing fixtures are used for ensuring water conservation and effective water management
• The green gardens within the premises have been named as “Garden of Harmony”, “Harsha Vana” and “Vaipulya Vatika”. These gardens involveteachable moments, incorporate group learning and allow children to grow in their aesthetic sensibilities.

Sports & Co-curricular Education

Every student is encouraged to participate in some activity or the other, demonstrating the true spirit of sportsmanship. The Indoor Sports Block offers Swimming, Yoga & Aerobics, a Soft Play Gym, Table Tennis, Carrom, Billiards, Snooker, Chess and Squash.
