CBSE issues urgent notice regarding fake website, sample papers-Education News
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notification regarding a fake website claiming that the Board has released sample papers and that the questions will be asked from those model papers only in Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2023.
CBSE has alerted all stakeholders to be extremely careful and not respond to any of such fake messages and website links.
“It has come to the notice of the Board that certain unscrupulous elements have created a link http://cbse.support/sp stating that CBSE has circulated 30 sample papers for class 10, 12 exams and that exam papers will be from these sample papers only and asking for money to download these papers,” reads the official notification.
The Board also mentioned that sample papers are available on its official website at www.cbse.gov.in free of cost. CBSE does not charge any fees from students or parents for downloading the sample papers online. Therefore, students, who are appearing in the board examinations are advised to not believe in such fake websites. They must always verify with the official website of the Board if they see any related information on the internet. CBSE Board exams 2023 commenced on February 15 and are presently underway. The Board is conducting Class 10, 12 examinations at various exam centres across the country. CBSE Class 10 exams will conclude on March 21, 2023, while CBSE Class 12 exams will end on April 5, 2023.
