HNLU to organise first global moot court competition next year-Education News

Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) has announced to organise a global moot court competition with the participation of world teams in March next year.

Speaking at the valedictory function of HMCC, the law university’s flagship moot court event, HNLU vice-chancellor Prof Prof.V.C. Vivekanandan said the international moot will be held from March 15 to 17 at the university campus from next year. “This evolution is based on the consistent organization capacity of the HNLU Student-Faculty teams of the past HNMCC events and also will be the first global moot event for any law school in the country where the preparations will start from April this year”, he added.
The XIIIth edition of the CCI – HNMCC’23 concluded on Sunday. The moot court competition witnessed participation from 38 law schools comprising of 114 students judged by 60 invited judges. Following an intense final, the winners for this year’s HNMCC were the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies represented by Ms. Yashaswini Parashar, Anshika Agarwal and Utsav Vats, whereas Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur, represented by Anika Sharma, Ghanishtha Mishra and Sharwari Motghares bagged the Best Memorial Award.
