How to prevent cyberbullying among teenagers?

WWW is a dynamic medium of knowledge, that caters to knowledge-based information along with commercial updates. Educates us in various fields. Bridges us to stay connected. On the flip side, provides new ways to torment us. This vicious activity is commonly referred to as cyberbullying. It has affectedpeople of all ages and communities. The Worst hit by this syndrome are the teens crisscrossing schools or colleges. Parents today suffer this genocide along with them.

The Majority of the teens don’t report and keep it within, and suffer mentally. As a matter of concern, cyberbullying is growing phenomenally.

Posting negative, content about an individual to harass & can lead you to a situation where you make up your mind to obliterate yourself.

We have to think beyond.

Parents have to be vigilant and keep an eagle eye on the increasing online presence of their child, and should take required safeguards while browsing.

We should educate the next generation to protect themselves.

  • One of the most essential tools to prevent this act to a great level is to create good strong passwords.
  • Passwords you create are often trade lines of what you commonly speak, as such the advice is to jumble up information and place it in a manner which hackers find difficult to hack.
  • Another leap to prevent this crime is to keep maximum information of yourself in isolation or privacy. This prevents you from a large extent of being troubled by unknown waters.
  • We should abstain from being careless in the virtual world and not share information in a platter. This can keep you safe to a great extent.
  • Being happy to inform others about your movement can be a threat as people outside might just be waiting to nab you. Let the outside world not know where you are.
  • We in the world today feel conceited about expressing ourselves and informing the outside world of many things which is not required. This is harmful as we are not aware of the sharks around us.
  • Parents have to spend screen time with their children and review what all they maintain. It’s beneficial to both. Unknown around can be safe or creepy. Educate them about the unseen element around them.
  • Respond to chats which are abusive and harmful, together with an iron fist. See that the nonsense is eradicated at the base.

Study shows that teens suffer from depression from many angles as such we have to coordinate as a full family to decimate this nonsense.
