Uttarakhand schools to reopen for classes 10 and 12, with parents’ permission being compulsory to attend classes

A total of 3,791 senior secondary schools in Uttarakhand will reopen for classes 10 and 12 from November 2nd, as per the state government. Students will only be allowed to attend classes if they have written permission from their parents.

The state government has released guidelines to be followed by educational institutes to check the spread of COVID-19. Students will be taught in the school premises but revision work will continue through the online classes.
According to the Education Minister Arvind Pandey, due to the changed circumstances amid the pandemic, the teaching format within the classrooms has also been changed in the SOP.
