Std XI student Satyam Yadav said, “I am very excited to be back in school. For so many months, I have been missing my friends, teachers and this place. It’s like a second home and I have been waiting eagerly for reopening”.
Outside school gates, students had to submit the physical copy of consent forms signed by parents/guardians. After that, the first of many rounds of hand sanitization began. Body temperature was checked, followed by pulse and then again a vigorous rubbing of hands with sanitizers.
After a short walk from the gate to the school building, students were guided by staff to ‘handwash’ stations where washing hands with soap is mandatory. Only after this, students were allowed entry inside classrooms.
