Board Exam Dates released for 2021
New Delhi: CBSE Board exams 2021 will be held from May 4 to May 14 while the CBSE practical exams for the Class 10 and Class 12 students will be held at the school-level between March 1 and the start of the CBSE theory exams. The detailed CBSE date sheet 2021 for Classes 10, 12 final exams are yet to be released. It will be made available on the official website of the board, cbse.nic.in.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had announced the CBSE Board 2021 exam dates during a live session held on December 31, 2020. Several states including Maharashtra, Punjab, Delhi, Bihar, Karnataka, Assam, and West Bengal have declared their upcoming board exam dates. To prepare students for board exams, several states also began announcing the reopening of schools and colleges.
Delhi and Rajasthan will reopen their schools from tomorrow. Although CBSE and state boards have reduced Classes 10, 12 syllabi by 30 per cent, schools at the state level are still considering the requests of lakhs of students to resume physical classes in offline mode as online education doesn’t cater to the need. States including Bihar and Haryana have also released the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam admit cards for the upcoming 2021 state board exams.
Though the Union Health Ministry had issued COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for reopening schools and colleges, various states have also released their own health guidelines for educational institutes.
