Daffodils Foundation for Learning wins Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior 2021
Daffodils Foundation for Learning has won the Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior 2021, a global competition organised by Microsoft worldwide. A team of 5 students between the ages of 13yrs to 15yrs, & 3 teachers with the name ‘ SENSE & SAVE’ represented DFL in the MICROSOFT ICJ 2021.
The innovative idea proposed is an Artificial Intelligence-powered, bio-resistive graphene sensor for real-time amniotic fluid monitoring in pregnant women, supporting those who do not have regular or easy access to healthcare. The innovation, if realized, will revolutionize the pregnancy-related Healthcare industry to a large extent.
The innovation leverages the use of simple hardware and AI. The students who put in their dedicated and industrious efforts are: Vedhika R. Kotian, Saptham, Jhenkar Rajesh, Purandar S. and Krishna Bhat U and the team was led by the teacher Mrs. Parinita Nadgauda and supported by Mrs. T. Rajambal & Mrs. Hema Jayaram.
