Welcome to Building Blocks Playschool ! We are a licensed childcare center in Colchester, Vermont welcoming children ages 6 weeks – 5 years. Our goal is to help alleviate the stressful choice of choosing a childcare provider for your little one. We strive to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment while encouraging children to explore, play and learn.​

Building Blocks Playschool believe that the first years of a child’s life is by far the most important, helping to lay the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development to follow. Through nurturing and individualized attention, we take great pride in providing a warm, friendly and fun environment for your child while ensuring that your child receives the guidance and structure they need. Our program reflects the belief that learning takes place primarily through opportunities where children can explore and discover through play and socialization.

Each room provides a wide range of materials, toys, and developmentally appropriate activities, which allow your child to discover their own unique interests. Building Blocks Playschool follow a curriculum as a center that promotes growth and learning experiences for your child.

As a team, we strive to create respectful, positive and open community among children, staff and parents while making sure that the children’s needs come first. We feel that good communication between parent and provider is a very important part of quality childcare. We are committed to creating a strong bond with you and your child in order to make sure that your child is getting what is needed out of the program. We want you to feel confident, and reassured when you leave your child in our care.
