Uttarakhand technical institutes to reopen from Aug 23, degree colleges from Sept 1 – Education News
Uttarakhand is geared up to open degree colleges along with technical educational institutions. Special attention will be given to protecting students and staff against Covid-19.
All engineering colleges and vocational educational institutions affiliated with Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technological University will open from August 23 for offline studies. At the same time, the government has issued orders to open all state universities and degree colleges related to higher education from September 1.
According to the guidelines of the UGC, the state government has decided to start the admission process from September 1 and start a new academic session from October 1. On Thursday, SOPs have also been issued to the vice-chancellors of all government and private universities, all the district magistrates, and the director of higher education to follow the Covid-19 safety standards.
