Under this, students would be given Rs 2000 as seed money for commercial projects, this will serve a dual purpose of boosting confidence and instilling an entrepreneurial mindset.

EMC carnival will also be organised at zonal and district levels. The top 10 students will be offered direct admission to BBA courses conducted by the Netaji Subhash University of Technology (NSUT) and Delhi Technological University (DTU).

Mr. Deepak Kumar Mittal, mentor teacher, Directorate of Education (DoE), says, “This scheme will instil entrepreneurship, offer progressive mindset and experiential learning. Students would develop abilities like critical thinking, business mindset and risk-taking through this programme.

The programme would develop qualities among students so that they can undertake something related to the experience they would gain through this programme. Possibly, this experience may give them the inclination to follow any such idea in their real life later in their lives. This programme would make students creative and innovative.

Students would be encouraged to work upon their innovative ideas in such a way that the idea becomes useful, growth-oriented, and has a social impact on a larger scale. This course would be taught to the students of classes XI and XII.”
