Our young generation is full of energy, enthusiasm and also empathy. Though it may look as if they are not concerned about anything, they also astonish everyone with their dedicated approach to challenges and crisis.
The knowledge explosion at times smothers them but can be channelized for their benefit by teachers and parents. See the world through their eyes and you will be stunned to see their simple way of solving complex matters. We are awed by their ability to juggle between a multitude of talents.
Institutions should change their curriculum and pedagogy to nurture the new generation. Tweak a little bit of the old methodology, mould it to suit the present kids, provide a free-thinking environment and we can achieve marvelous goals.
Entrust responsibilities to the young brigades, they can lead the nation. Educated, talented and enriched youth is the need of the hour. The responsibility of taking our nation to the top of the world lies in the hands of educators.
In educating the youngsters, inculcate strong moral values and ethics, our heritage and culture – the impeccable treasure – should be handed over to the next generation wrapped in modernity and in the process not lose any values.
