Covid-19 took the educational sector in India by storm and what remained a mirage integrating technology into schools for more than decade found a sensible vision for a better future.
Uncertainty of the lockdown period due to Covid-19 created a sense of urgency to deal with the education system, apprehending that the schooling will no longer be the same.
Management across the country was quick to adopt digital learning system to facilitate learning from home.
Educators and teachers took the challenge as an opportunity for immersive learning of the digital platform for teaching. Initial panic has come down; and passion and zeal to face the challenge took over.
By the time the lockdown gets resolved totally, the education system across the world would have taken online classes to a very high level, so much so that, it would become a very indispensable tool for the teachers and for the remote learners.
Online teaching and learning would be a combination of blended learning classroom, experiential learning, innovative presentations, flipped learning; and a wide variety of teaching methodologies, resulting in flipped creative videography.
Online learning management system emerged as a robust platform for teaching, learning and, track progress of learners.

 Social media platforms will become an integral part of learning and interactive mode.

Adaptive learning, Inclusive education and differentiated digital teaching will cater to the needs and abilities of the students. 
Technology companies are continuously developing several ed-tech models for schools to improve the classroom experiences.
These companies enable classrooms with multi-media content. Dr Ruben Puentudura’s SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) model will be quite effective for smooth integration of technology.
According to this model, the ultimate goal of ed-tech will be to completely redefine the teaching and learning process, and to adopt the methodology that a teacher could never adopt before the technology was unavailable.
Ed-Techs are revolutionising education, designing, inventing and constructive robust digital learning platform.
In such a scenario, classroom learning environment will not be the way children left.
Students bracing normal school with newfound immersive online learning tools and new technological Avatar; an incarnate techno-savvy teacher, will look for   technically equipped school environment.
Online learning will continue even after school reopens for those students who prefer home schooling.
The so-called Internal schools will switch to a new branding strategy by renaming schools as’ Digital School’; and students will come for doubt clarification at ‘Digital Learning Café’.Learning curves will change, and revolutionised education will be there to stay.
