DU to launch its UG admission process soon- Education News
Delhi University (DU) will soon announce its admissions process for undergraduate courses for the new academic session, and candidates should ensure their documents and certificates are ready by August 31.
Due to the postponement of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), there is uncertainty surrounding the start of the admissions process in universities. Prior to the implementation of the Common Entrance Exam, Delhi University used to admit students based on their Class 12 board exam marks. This year, admissions will be based on CUET scores.
On Thursday, DU published a notification listing the certificates needed for admission, including Class 10, 12 and EWS certificates. The official notification read, “The University of Delhi will soon launch its application process for admissions to undergraduate programmes. Candidates desirous of applying to the University of Delhi must ensure the following certificates and documents (as applicable) are in a ready format by August 31, 2022.” The university said “The name of the candidate claiming a reservation must match with the candidate’s name as it appears on their corresponding school board qualifying certificates and in CUET (UG)-2022. Similarly, the parents’ names must also match the certificates”
