University of Birmingham launches fully-funded scholarship for PG students in India-Education News
The University of Birmingham has launched a fully-funded scholarship– Lord Karan Bilimoria (chancellor’s) scholarship for Indian students applying for postgraduate study programmes at the university’s campuses in Birmingham and Dubai.
The scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver and accommodation costs up to the duration of the programme for the winner, while four runner-ups will be exempted from tuition fee for 5,000 pound (Rs 5 lakh approx). According to the official university release, the candidates should have an excellent academic record and should be able to demonstrate that they have overcome challenging circumstances. They should also have innovative ideas to overcome the complex challenges faced by both the UK and India. Apart from this successful applicants who reaches the final round will be asked to submit a three-minute video answering two key “The scholarship is only open to Indian students applying for postgraduate study programmes at the University’s campuses in Birmingham and Dubai. Candidates must have a valid offer of study from the University of Birmingham,” reads an official statement. While launching the scholarship, Lord Bilimoria, chancellor, University of Birmingham said.
