Time Management

“If you lose wealth, it can be earned back, if you lose health, it can be regained but, if you lose time, you lose it forever”.

The most valuable resource on the earth is time, because every minute ticking never comes back at any cost. A wise man never intends to lose somethings which cannot be earned back.

Time management is an essential skill for students to master in order to maximize their academic success. With the right strategies, students can manage their time more effectively, become more productive, and achieve their goals.  The first step in time management is to set clear goals. Goals should be specific and realistic, and should be broken down into smaller, achievable tasks. Setting goals allows students to prioritize and plan ahead, and gives them an incentive to stay on track.

Students should also create a daily schedule that outlines their commitments, such as studying, classes, extracurricular activities, and more. Scheduling can help students better manage their time and keep focused on the important tasks at hand. It’s also important to allow some flexibility in the schedule in case of emergencies or unexpected events.

By setting goals, creating a schedule, making a to-do list, taking breaks, and understanding their limits, students can become better time managers and achieve their goals. With the right strategies, students can maximize their academic success and become more productive.

“Time management is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between different activities. Get it right, and you’ll end up working smarter, not harder, to get more done in less time – even when time is tight and pressures are high. The highest achievers manage their time exceptionally”

All successful people share a common trait that’s respect and use time optimally. In the same breath, I feel for those unsuccessful who messed it up with the value of time. More than older generations knowing and learning to use time is highly important for children at schools as the right time to infuse positive things in one’s mind is childhood. School administration and staff should encourage children to acquire better time management skills at a young age so that they utilise every minute for their growth and development.  Children should be trained to be proactive and visionary to Manage time well.

5 activities to imbibe to be a better manager of time since childhood are

  • Wake up early
  • Plan your day, week or month in advance.
  • Talk less work more
  • Don’t procrastinate
  • Stay Focused
