Heavy rains Tuesday holiday for educational institutions in Ernakulam, Kasaragod, Alappuzha-Education News

In light of the heavy rainfall forecast, a holiday has been declared for all educational institutions, including professional colleges, in the Ernakulam, Alappuzha districts on Tuesday.

The holiday announcement encompasses Anganwadis, KendriyaVidyalayas, as well as state, CBSE, and ICSE schools. In Kasaragod, the holiday is applicable to all schools, Anganwadis, and madrasas. However, colleges were not included in the announcement made by the district collector. The IMD has issued a warning about heavy rains in Kerala over the next five days. A red alert was issued for Ernakulam district on Monday followed by Idukki and Kannur districts on Tuesday.
