The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the result declaration dates for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation examinations held in May 2025. Students awaiting their results can expect the much-anticipated announcements on July 6, 2025, with results available online through the official ICAI portals.

According to the ICAI notification:

• The CA Final and Intermediate results will be declared by around 2 PM on July 6.
• The CA Foundation results will follow later the same day, expected by 5 PM.

How to Check ICAI CA Exam Results 2025

Students must have their registration number or roll number ready, as these are essential for accessing the result scorecards. The steps to check the results are straightforward:

2. Click on the ‘CA result 2025’ link on the homepage.
3. Enter the registration number, roll number, and pin number in the login window.
4. Type the Captcha code as displayed.
5. Click ‘Submit’ to view and download the result.

Passing Criteria for CA Foundation Exam

To qualify in the CA Foundation exam, candidates must:

• Secure at least 40 marks in each individual subject.
• Achieve an overall aggregate of 50 percent or more.

For top performers, ICAI awards a “pass with distinction” status to those who score 70 percent or higher in the overall aggregate for the May 2025 CA Foundation exam.

Exam Schedule and Context

The CA Foundation examination for May 2025 was conducted over four days:

• May 15, 17, 19, and 21.

The admit cards for this session were issued earlier on April 25, 2025.

In the exam:

• Papers 1 and 2 were held from 2 PM to 5 PM.
• Papers 3 and 4 took place between 2 PM and 4 PM.
• For Papers 3 and 4, no advance reading time was given. However, for other papers, candidates had 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM.

Previous Session Performance

For context, the January 2025 CA Foundation exam was held on January 12, 16, 18, and 20. Results were announced on March 4, 2025. During that session:

• A total of 1,10,887 students appeared.
• Only 23,861 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 21.52%.
