The Central Board of Secondary Education has informed the education ministry that conducting board exams for classes 10 and 12 twice a year is not feasible under the current academic schedule. The board highlighted the extensive process involving 310 days for preparation, administration, and evaluation. Given the current system's complexities, including competitive exam dates and teacher involvement, the board stated that conducting exams twice a year would be challenging. The ministry had asked for a roadmap to implement this plan, aiming to reduce student stress and provide opportunities for improved performance.
