Bhavya, a 17-year-old student from ApeejaySchool, Noida, emerged as the state topper in the recent JEE Main 2024-Session 1 exams. Although he narrowly missed a perfect 100 percentile score, securing a 99.99 percentile in Maths, he attained 100 percentile in Physics and Chemistry. Bhavya has been aspiring to crack the IIT JEE since 9th grade, with a dream of pursuing computer science engineering at IIT Mumbai. Despite his achievements, he remains focused on the upcoming CBSE Class 12 exams starting on February 22, emphasizing the importance of balancing preparation for both board exams and JEE. He attributes his success to the support from his school and teachers, who prioritized practical knowledge. Bhavya, an avid lawn tennis and cricket player, draws inspiration from cricketers Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. He plans to appear in JEE Main Session 2 exams to prepare for the tougher JEE Advanced. Previously, Bhavyasecured a merit position in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) 2021 and attended a mathematical orientation camp (MOOC) organized by HBCSE. In the JEE Main 2024-Session 1, out of 11,70,048candidates, only 23 achieved a perfect 100 NTA score.
