Physical classes in Tamil Nadu playschools, anganwadis & kindergartens to resume from Nov 1- Education News

Tamil Nadu schools are geared up to resume physical classes for anganwadi, playschools and kindergarten students, as per Chief Minister MK Stalin’s announcement.

All staff and employers of these schools have been asked to be vaccinated against Covid-19 before November 1, 2021. Apart from the physical classes for youngsters, private tuition centres can also reopen with strict adherence to Covid-19 safety norms.

Recently, the TN government had given permission for Classes 1 to 8 to resume physical classes in schools. The decision has been taken after consulting experts, educationists and parents. Also, students of Classes 9 to 12 had begun physical classes from September 1.

Experts say that to resume schools for the younger students of anganwadi, playschools and kindergarten students is a good move as they really need to interact with their peers and teachers physically, care should be taken by teachers and other staff to prevent the resurgence of Covid-19.
