George M George Chairman

Mr. George M George is the fourth generation in a long line of entrepreneurs at The Muthoot Group. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality management from the Welcomgroup Graduate school of Hotel Administration in Manipal and a Master’s degree from the prestigious Essec-Cornell University in Paris, France. 

 As the Chairman of the St. George’s Education Society, Mr. George M George has helped build a strong foundation of the education system in India. His approach has been that of empowering and effectively triggering learning for growth. With a belief that education is a fundamental asset that triggers young minds to explore infinite possibilities in the world of excellence, he has emphasized that it helps an individual fight all challengesand affects the behavioral response of individuals along with the overall growth and development of the society.

He has been a passionate speaker at various platforms that engages audiences ranging from student forums, business startups and familyowned enterprises. 

Alexander George Muthoot Vice-Chairman

Mr. Alexander George Muthoot is the youngest son of Mr. M. G. George Muthoot, Late Chairman of The Muthoot Group. An advanced diploma in business administration from Florida International University and an MBA from Thunderbird University in USA, Mr. Alexander joined the family business as a Manager. His tireless efforts helped him rise through the ranks to become the Joint Managing Director of the Group. Polite and soft- spoken, he is a formidable business leader who has actively introduced the use of modern techniques and technology, not just in operations but also in the way oversight was maintained over actions of individuals, departments and functions.

He has played a major role in the field of education with the intent to ensure that children grow academically and become truly responsible global citizens. He has single-mindedly promoted Paul George Global School. The schools instill the power of ethical personality in children and kindle the spark of curiosity and light the pathway of their knowledge with confidence and conviction. 

Dr. Sara George Director St. George’s School and Paul George Global School 

A doctorate in Philosophy, Dr. Sara George Muthoot has been the Director of St. George’s School, New Delhi since 1982. A great academician, she has been instrumental in taking St. George’s School to the pinnacle of excellence, holistically.

Dr. Sara George Muthoot’s mission to educate and empower each child as her own is legendary. Her integrated approach to learning and her dynamic persona have helped to attain successful student outcomes through the years. Today, St. George’s School has close to 3,000 students and 130 teaching staff. She is an active social worker and has been relentlessly working for the upliftment of women and underprivileged children. She has been conferred with Global Human Rights Protection Award by the Indian Institute of Human Rights, TKK Nambiar Memorial Award for Life Time Achievement, Best Principal Trophy by Science Olympiad Foundation and Special Appreciation Award by NASA – Kennedy Space Centre. 

 Mr. Jayaprakash CEO St. George Education Society

An accomplished educator, Mr. Jayaprakash is a highly motivated, in tuitiveand result-focused professional who has worked as Principal/CEO/ Director of CBSE K-12 school/Group of Schools. He holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature and is a Gold Medalist, B. Ed., ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor from Bureau Veritas Quality International, France, with three decades of experience in education with renowned groups such as the Tatas, Modis, Ambujas, GIIS headquartered in Singapore, Delhi Public Schools, Zee Learnand the Presidency Group of Institutions, Bangalore, handling diversified functions including teaching, examinations, timetabling, admissions, recruitment, training, curriculum planning, career cell, administration, event management, counselling, IB & IGCSE Accreditation Process, CBSE Affiliation and also formulating Standard Operating Procedures to achieve aims and objectives of chain/group of institutions. 

 In addition to being a path-breaking educationist, Mr. Jayaprakash is also an international level sportsman, a theatre person, musician, writer in English, Hindi and Urdu, an orator, anchor, and a quiz master. 

About The Principal

Ms. Rosemary Gaikwad strongly believes that children are the future of a country and therefore a strong education system shapes country’s future. Having completed her schooling from St. Joseph’s Convent, she firmly has faith that we as human beings must work at becoming noble through the practice of virtues of being kind, respectful, gentle, cheerful, hard working and enthusiastic at all times.

 In over three decades of her journey as an educator, Ms. RosemaryGaikwad has gathered experience pan-India. She believes that listening, communicating and empathizing with the school community; the parents,teachers and children brings intellectual growth to all. 

 Teaching Methodology

At PGGS, a detailed curriculum framework encompassing academic and co-curricular activities is in place. The students’ aptitude is monitored throughperformance rubrics, and fine-tune learning plans are constantly created.Curiosity is inculcated in each student to learning something new. They areencouraged to question things as they exist around them as they examine, question, research, collaborate and share their ideas and views. 

Students actively explore real-world problems and challenges and acquire adeeper knowledge through questioning, inquiry and critical thinking. They areencouraged to work together to solve problems and complete projects whichhelp deepen their learning and collaborative skills. STEM-based learning, artintegration , skill-based education, storytelling, dramatization and role plays are some of the teaching methodologies adopted by the school. 

Campus Infrastructure

Paul George Global School has a Wi-Fi enabled eco-friendly campus that offersworld-class infrastructure facilities, which are also suitable for the differently-abled. The facilities include a multipurpose facility of an indoor Basketball, Badminton and Table Tennis court. 

The front block is built on stilts with an automatic temperature controlled shadedall-weather swimming pool underneath and an eight-lane, 100-meter synthetictrack runs through the building. The roof of the school building houses a skating rink and a Wimbledon sizetennis court to optimally utilize the available space. Well-equipped laboratories are provided for different streams which include acomputer lab, math lab and science lab. There are also two Information &Communication Technology (ICT) labs for the junior and senior levels. The other facilities include a state-of-the-art multipurpose auditorium, foot ballground, splash pool/sand pit play zone, and eight-meter athletic track, amphitheatre, cafeteria, infirmary, and a lot more.

Green School

The school campus is strictly eco-friendly. The inner partitions of the buildingare made up of drywall partitions, without the use of conventional bricks and water, and is equipped with ‘Radiant Cooling’, also known as Thermally Activated Building Systems (TABS) to enable eco-friendly, efficient and effective utilization of energy for the overall cooling of the premises. A Rainwater Charging System is also in place whereby rainwater is collected and drained through perforated pipes to the areas underground, to recharge water levels and prevent depletion of the groundwater table. The school also houses an eco-friendly STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) toreduce the use of water by recycling the treated water for flushing and horticulture. The school’s spacious classrooms are fully furnished with state-of-the-arttechnology and student-friendly furniture. The Teaching-Learning pedagogy isIT-enabled and all classrooms are equipped with a standard array of presentation equipment to provide the best multimedia tools. Digiclass Smartboards are installed in all classrooms.

Library

Paul George Global School is home to a world-class library to provide adynamic and flexible space that is innovatively designed with the best practicesand research where students can explore and use various resources in differentformats. The state-of-the-art junior library offers over 5000 books catering to a variety ofinterests, and is a haven for avid readers. The ambience, besides being child-friendly, is colourful and vibrant, to attract young minds. 

Sports & Co-curricular Education

Recognizing the importance of sports & co-curricular activities along side academics, the school provides ample infrastructure and facilities for the same.It houses six laboratories, five computer labs, a multipurpose auditorium, conference room and an in-service training centre. Besides providing facilities for all major sports including Hockey, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis etc.; the school also has a Basketball court equipped with hydraulic rings with Fibre Board approved by the Basket Ball Federation ofIndia, and a lush green Cricket ground with flood-lights and two turf wickets ofinter national standard. The school’s auditorium features automated retractable seating and astage to host cultural programs, gatherings and stage performances. The visual art of Sculpture is taught in a well-equipped studio whichis equipped with all the material that can be moulded to create artforms. With the ability to portray a wide range of concepts, art and STEAM skills, from self-portraits to clay modelling, canvas painting totie and dye and many more, the work of the students reflects their creative thinking processes and inspirations.
