About The School About Baba Isher Singh (Nanaksar) Public School Baba Isher Singh (Nanaksar) Public School has been founded to commemorate the memory and teachings of the great Saint Baba Nand Singh Ji (Nanaksar) Kaleran and his great disciple Saint Baba Isher Singh JI, under the patronage, guidance and active participation of Baba Kundan Singh Ji of Nanaksar Kaleran. This insititute has been registered with the Registrar of Societies and managed by Baba Isher Singh (Nanaksar) Education Trust (Registered) Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, Ludhiana. The foundation stone of this most architectural building was laid on 1st July, 1992 by His Excellency Baba Kundan Singh Ji (Nanaksar) Kaleran amidst great enthusiasm of Amritsar Sangat. A beautiful building has been constructed by the over whelming efforts of entire sangat involving members of Executive Committee. Infrastructure The school owns a magnificiant and spacious building in a vast area of 27098 sq. yards, in the Posh Colony of Ranjit Avenue, D-Block with the serenic natural picturesque. The school is equipped with 35 well ventilated rooms, properly maintained modernly designed Laboratory, Canteen, Music Room, Medical Room, Generator Room, Sports Room, Fee-Collection Centre, School Book Shop, Computer Department and a well stocked library. The modest building of the school promises proper setting and ideal environment not only for academic education but also for overall development of the child. Gurudwara Sahib has been constructed in the School campus to meet the spiritual needs of young scholars of the school. Computer Department is an added feature of the school. Beautiful Bibi Nanaki Children Park for tiny-tots to enjoy Sliders, Swings, Rollers, Jungle Jim where they refresh themselves for class room study. Vast Play grounds for Volley Ball, Foot Ball, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Basket Ball and Badminton add grandeur to the beauty of institution. Submersible Water – Pump run by 4 H.P. electric motor caters to the need of watering the grounds and the plants providing shade and greenery. Water Cooler fitted with Aqua-Guard facility serves fresh and pure water to everyone round the clock. The school has its own Power Generator to supply power in event of local power shut down. Excellent recreational cum educational playful structures have been added specially for pre-nursery and nursery children.
