Redbridge International Academy has been a community of like-minded people who have brought it to its current level of success. The academy’s pillars have worked relentlessly to ensure that all students enjoy a transformative experience at Redbridge International Academy. For all of this, we are immensely thankful to our dear principal for constant guidance and eagle-eyed oversight. Mrs. Sherene Thomas has dedicated over three decades of her life in the field of education. After she completed her schooling and university studies from renowned institutions in Kolkata, she set off on her career as a higher secondary teacher in her alma mater. Teaching was her passion and conscious that it was a calling, she taught in renowned schools in Bangalore affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, and also those following the IGCSE and International Baccalaureate curricula. She has also done extensive content development for e- learning platforms working with the CBSE syllabus. She has been an examiner for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and the IB Diploma Program. Being well versed with a variety of Indian and International curricula, Mrs. Sherene Thomas has completed a long and successful tenure as Principal of a renowned ICSE/ISC school in Tamil Nadu. She loves to be in the midst of young learners as she has the ability to win over young minds by motivating each one of them to rise above their personal expectations by using their talents and abilities effectively. She believes that each child is precious and priceless; a unique and multi-faceted individual with enormous potential waiting to be unfolded. She is of the belief that both, the parent and the teacher play an equal and vital role in the development and blooming of every young mind. Through the voice of Dr. Abdul Kalam who said, ‘A dream is not which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep’ she echoes the vision of Redbridge International Academy ‘Let them dream, we will light the way”!
