Delhi Public School, Bangalore South was established in the year 2001, under the aegis of The DPS Society, New Delhi and K K Educational and Charitable Trust led by Shri. K Rahman Khan, former Union Minister, Minority Affairs and is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi. DPS Bangalore South is renowned for imparting holistic education and staying committed to the realization of the ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ as prescribed by the United Nations. We are an SDG School and believe in empowering our children through an attitudinal, structural and cultural process so that they gain the ability and agency to make decisions and adapt to change. Our illuminous alumni have secured top ranks in various competitive examinations like NEET, IIT, CLAT, CA, CAT, NIFT etc. and have been well placed in institutions of excellence within India and overseas. Many students who have excelled in various sporting arenas have proved their prowess in prestigious national and international tournaments. The school continuously strives to remain abreast with the changing trends in contemporary education. Teachers constantly endeavour to adapt to the learner’s needs by adopting novel pedagogical practices with conventional methodologies thereby leading to a blended mode of classroom transactions. Vision and Leadership
School Vision

From the beginning in the President's Estate in 1941 as Church High School to Naveen Bharat School in 1947 and finally in 1949 at its present location on Mathura Road, DPS has traversed a long journey. For more than six decades, the DPS Society has developed with a spirit and a vision. Mrs. Manju Sharma

The Principal, Mrs. Manju Sharma presided as Chief Guest at the Women's Day Celebrations organized by Indian Oil Corporation Limited on March 8, 2018. She was felicitated for her contribution to the arena of Education. She spoke at length about how education leads to enlightenment and empowerment. She emphasized upon the fact that education enables women to respond to multi-fold challenges and change perceptions towards life. She mentioned that as institutions we must work towards bringing a positive attitudinal change and ensure that equal opportunities are provided to assist in chartering novel routes of self discovery and progress in the work space.
