Ms. Devgan has extensive educational leadership experience. Having worked in a variety of Indian and International schools she offers diversity and a high level of professionalism. She served as Head of Junior School, YPS Patiala and GANDHI MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Bali where she also taught the IB and IGCSE curriculum. Having taught English to ICSE/ISC, CBSE and IB students she believes that a teacher is a lifelong learner no matter what position they hold or level they reach. This makes her a most humble and approachable leader. She is an IGCSE English – Oral Skills component accredited Examiner (UCLES ID No. EC45JK), a certified piano and music teacher from the Trinity College of Music, London. She also worked as a Consultant to the British Co – Ed High School, Patiala and served as Director of School Relations: YFU (Youth for Understanding) –An International Organisation with Headquarters in the USA. She is the recipient of Uttarakhand Ratan Award 2021 awarded to Principals by The Progressive Schools' Association, Uttarakhand. To achieve holistic development, we offer regular life skills classes and emphasis on encouraging creativity and sports skills. It is heartening to see most of our alumni contributing effectively to the society and I can say with pride that the good foundation and "right values practised" during their formative years contributed to it. When I started my teaching career more than forty years ago, the role of a teacher was of a knowledge giver and emotional supporter. But today’s teacher is a multi faceted facilitator who encourages the children to think on their own and be independent. The School will also help the children to discover themselves and counsel them in choosing their careers in the senior classes according to their talent and aptitude.
