Vision and Leadership
School Vision
A curriculum can specify what is expected to be learnt and how the learning is to be assessed. However, the curriculum by itself does not ensure that needs and expectations will be met, if deficient processes exist. We, therefore, have formulated a strategic process to function effectively and manage numerous linked activities, to academics, in order to enable the transformation of inputs into outputs. Support services for the teaching, learning process are carried out for the satisfactory accomplishment of their curricula and support to the student until he/she succeeds in obtaining his/her academic certificate. “We cannot change the world but we can make a difference.” The School provides facility of day boarding which is optional. The fooding facility is proved to the day boarders i.e. breakfast, lunch and evening refreshment. The curriculum is strictly as prescribed by C.B.S.E. from time to time. The main attraction is full fledged Science Labs, Maths Lab., S.St. Lab, computer lab, audio visual lab, disney land toys, library, purified cold drinking water and continuous supply of electricity. The school offers various variety based programme designed for physical development like, sports, karate, skating, horse riding, physical exercises, quiz, debates, group discussions, competitions etc. etc. The school celebrates various festivals and occasions to preserve Indian culture.

My heart fills with pride and pleasure as I perceive the progress being made at G.M.I.S. The seeds of an idea sown in 2003, has quickly come to realization of our aim of making the school grow into a strong tree. It is the endeavor of the KANPUR EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY to make the academic life, a smooth journey full of joy and discovery for our students. I extend my warm wishes to the Principal, Staff and Students of GAURAV MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL to continue this journey on the road to excellence. May the sapling grow into a sturdy tree and spread its branches! I dreamt to set up a school in which students could get modern education blended with traditions and culture so that our long cherished cultured heritage may not be extinct. It is my firm faith that our youth is the future of our country and progress of the country is related with the status of the youth. Here in the school the students are given not only academic knowledge but also the roots of our youth are watered and enlightened with cultural and moral values so that they are transformed into good human beings with exuberant qualities acceptable in the society. They must feel proud in considering themselves the part of G.M.I.S. and as they pass-out from here the edifice of their career must stand on strong foundation. The gist of my life is "LOVE" and "FEAR" of GOD If a person has these two key words in his mind and heart, he will never be a failure in his life. I believe in the spirit of hard work and endeavor to create a lifelong learning spirit in our students by encouraging their commitment to excellence. My aim is to give them quality in education so I will leave no stone unturned to make this institution quite progressive and smart which in turn will be capable of creating world class citizens.

Your thoughts have a major influence on your success or failure, so make sure those thoughts are "on your side". The message by Stephen Hawking's is that black holes ain't as black as they are painted. They are eternal prisons they were once thought. Things can get out of a black hole both on the outside and possibly to another universe. So, if you feel you are black hole, don't give up; there is a way out. Remember to look up at stars and not down to your feet.Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it. While there is LIFE, there is HOPE. It's positive inner force that pushes you to move further and help to achieve your goals. Cultivate a positive mindset, identify you SWOT and work on them and most importantly avoid procrastination and work on your management skills. The most important ingredient for success is self belief. The world starts believing in you after your success but the one who has been believing you right from the beginning is you- "yourself". You have to believe in yourself to make your dreams come true. That's the only force which drives you towards your goal till you achieve it. Persistence, Perseverance and Persuasion are the key to achieve what a human brain can think of. Adversities and failures are your co-passengers in the journey towards success you can't avoid them but never allow then to supersede your goals. It's not important how many times you fall what matters is you get up every time you fall and success will be yours one day. Great Tings Never comes from comfort zones.
