Vision and Leadership
School Vision

We at Gardenia Public School follow the path, that gradually move towards excellence. We encourage children to self-contemplate, so that they can gain the confidence and to cope in today’s highly competitive and globalised world. Our mission is to raise the next generation responsible and compassionate. We are doing this by providing students with rich educational experience based on diversity and kindness. On this ethos the pillars of our foundation are rested. Our mission statement therefore holds true when we say that - "We aspire to make our learners walk down the road which leads them to develop a thirst for knowledge such that its discovery leads to the enrichment of life for them as individuals and community at large"

“Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching and the greatest things can happen- By Pette Carrots" "Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation" and no other place can be better for your child than Gardenia Public School. Education is not only meant for the job or earning money. Its real meaning comes when one starts thinking for the social development along with the self development. One should also think for the betterment of society, country and humanity. Every child is a flower and altogether they make a beautiful garden. So, we provide our children value based education and opportunities to grow in every sphere of life. Our school always moves with time and adopts the necessary changes. During COVID-19 pandemic, our school removed all the hurdles and provided online classes on various platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, Whatsapp etc. We are also thankful to the parents and staff members who came out of their comfort zones and adjusted to this new way of teaching and learning. We are grateful to our teachers and students for their “Can do” attitude and we are proud of the way the whole GPS family has taken up this challenge under our leadership. “somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”- Carl Sagan I came across this amazing quote quite suddenly when I was looking for some information on the internet and realized how relevant it is for all of us, children, parents and teachers. There is no point in the life of a person when he can sit back and say, “There is nothing more to learn, I can relax with the comforting thought that the universe around me is an open book. I know it all.” Education is not just about the subjects that are learnt and taught in school, it is a lifelong exercise. Children, teachers and parents have to understand that education is not restricted to lessons taught in the classroom from text books. Parents and teachers must encourge children to ask as many questions as they can. For it is in wanting to know that will result in actually getting to know. Our school teachers always ensure that children have a society of enriching experiences. This develops a child’s creativity and imagination and leads to something that is often thought to be more important than knowledge. Creativity and imagination make children grow up to be productive adults who then become citizens of the world ready to make their great contribution to mankind. “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world and all there ever will be to know and understand.”- By Albert Einstein Message from my Gardenia Family-“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” So provide your child the best education from our school so that with Gardenia’s educational key, your child can unlock the golden door to success.

“If a plant is nurtured by a gardener, it will become healthy and produce better fruits.” Therefore, children must be given a good training from their early childhood. We are here for the same. I am sure that our students of today, tomorrow will carry forward the Motto of Love and Unity entrusted in their hands at Gardenia Public School. Years, months, weeks go by children leave our protective nest, new ones are welcomed into our folds. Years filled with promises, dreams achieved, lives enriched. There are many miles to go, challenges to be met, dark forests to be entered. We turn out good, educated children who will one day bring out a change, a change for a better future. We teach our children, “How to think, not what to think.”
