About School

The Lexicon Group of Institutes was established in the year 1999 by Shri S D Sharma with the sole aim of imparting high quality education in the areas of pre-primary, primary, secondary, senior secondary as well as higher education. The various educational institutions, under the aegis of the brand name Lexicon, are today synonymous for quality as well as visionary and progressive education. In a very short span of time the group has established top CBSE Schools in Pune, along with preschools (Lexicon Kids), a business school, institutes for Hotel Management as well as Media and Animation in addition to a therapy centre for children with special needs (Lexicon Rainbow). Various surveys over the years have ranked the Lexicon schools as the best CBSE schools. The preschools have also been awarded for their progressive curriculum as have the institutes for higher education. Education is derived from a Latin word which means 'to bring out'. The Lexicon philosophy on Education is very simple - to draw out of the child the gift of knowledge and happiness, in abundance - by creating an atmosphere where inquiry and interest can be stimulated by instilling confidence in a child to believe in himself or herself. Initiatives like the Caterpillar to Butterfly Programme, the Research and Development Presentations, the Young Entrepreneurs Programme, the Entrepreneurship & Leadership Conclaves and the Lexicon MUN for Juniors and Seniors are among the various initiatives to ensure that every child gets equal opportunity for participation and holistic development. The school understands and acknowledges that children have varied learning styles and thus, the teaching methodologies focus on catering to the multiple intelligences that students possess. Just as The Lexicon Group has evolved, we all have been witness to how education has evolved over the years as well.
